Voice Acting (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides AI-driven voice interaction and immersive storytelling features. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data and outlines the strict age-based requirements for using our service.

1. Strict Age Requirement (18+)

Our service is strictly for adults (18+). We do not intentionally collect or maintain information from persons under the age of 18. To comply with Apple’s App Store safety guidelines (17+ rating), we employ a dual-layered age verification process involving platform-level APIs and mandatory in-app age gates.

2. User Responsibility & Shared Devices

LIABILITY NOTICE: Users are solely responsible for the security of their devices and the confidentiality of their accounts.
  • Shared Device Risks: If you share your mobile device or computer with others (including minors), you are responsible for any access to the app that occurs. We strongly recommend using account-based logins and biometric device locks (FaceID/TouchID) to prevent unauthorized use.
  • Disclaimer of Liability: Voice Acting shall NOT be held liable for any exposure to adult content, data breaches, or unauthorized interactions resulting from a user allowing a third party or a minor to access their device or account.
  • Account Binding: We recommend logging in via an authenticated account (Apple/Google) to ensure that age verification settings remain bound to your specific identity.

3. Information We Collect

  • Account Data: Email and profile identifiers from Google or Apple.
  • Interaction Data: We process audio inputs in real-time. We do not store raw audio recordings permanently. Short-term text transcripts may be retained for safety auditing and service functionality.
  • Technical Logs: Device type, OS version, and diagnostic data (via Firebase/Sentry) used exclusively for performance optimization.

4. AI Content Disclaimer

Our service utilizes generative artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected. By using the app, you agree that Voice Acting is not responsible for the nature of AI-generated dialogue or its impact on the user.

5. Data Security & Third Parties

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) and reputable providers like Supabase and OpenAI. However, no digital transmission is 100% secure. You provide your information at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voice Acting, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to unauthorized device access by third parties.

7. Data Deletion – How to Delete Your Account and Data

Voice Acting (by SapiensTales) lets you request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. You can do this in two ways:

Option 1: In the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Voice Acting app on your device.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Tap Account.
  4. Tap Delete account (or the equivalent option in your language).
  5. Read the confirmation message and confirm twice when prompted.

After you confirm, your account and linked personal data will be scheduled for deletion from our systems.

Option 2: By email

If you cannot use the app, send an email to growth@sapienstales.com from the email address linked to your account (or include your in-app display name and the platform you use: iOS or Android). We will process your deletion request and reply within 30 days.

What we delete vs. what we keep

  • Deleted: Your account identity, display name, email linkage, authentication linkage (Google/Apple), device linkage, and other directly identifying personal data.
  • Retained (anonymized or as required by law): We may keep anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you. Purchase or transaction records may be retained as required by law for tax or financial reporting (e.g. for the period required in your jurisdiction, typically 5–7 years). Security and audit logs may be retained for a limited period (e.g. up to 90 days) in anonymized or minimized form.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By continuing to use Voice Acting, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and accept all terms within this Privacy Policy.
